Meet Adelaide
Adelaide Marcus explores the full spectrum of human expression. As a reflection of her creative lifestyle and background in psychology, her art exposes the power of the mind, the allure of nature, and the delicate dance of duality. Adelaide recognizes art as an alchemist in its ability to bring beauty and focused attention to elements not often seen. Adelaide’s visionary art empowers the viewer by giving them a space to dive in and open to a wider perspective.
Adelaide was born into an unconventional family: her father a painter & musician, and her mother a dancer & martial artist. Her art is rooted in personal experiences, yet globally relatable. As accomplished as Adelaide has been as a full-time performing and visual artist since graduating high school, she recognizes her colorful life as her biggest masterpiece.
Currently, Adelaide is living on the road in a mobile home, formally known as an ambulance, that she personally converted. She is living in her biggest most utilitarian art piece yet, which she can roll from one location to another spreading her magick. Be it facilitating movement workshops, sharing embodied art offerings, or painting murals, Adelaide’s artistic contributions are felt long after she rolls away. She has enjoyed becoming more collaborative in her approach helping bring others’ visions to life. Her sense of design helps spaces flow, her color pallet pulls in thematic congruency, and her creative style is energetically felt. There is no doubt that the spaces Adelaide touches will never feel the same.
