A regenerative approach to education is ecological, embodied, and experiential. It encourages learners to express their unique interests and gifts while contributing to the health of their community, and the planet as a whole.
Our educational philosophy resonates with the core values of Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio, and other play-based, child-centered methodologies that protect and support whole-human development. We’re also deeply aligned with the principles of regenerative agriculture, which protect and support the growth of viable topsoil and food systems. We understand the health of people and planet are interdependent.
A regenerative education is experiential. We allow the innate curiosity of children to drive the curriculum. Kids are constantly building, testing, experimenting, exploring, and innovating. Our facilitators are experts at holding safe space for this creative process.
A regenerative education is embodied. Our deepest lessons are felt and lived through all the senses. We use music, movement, and mindfulness practices to promote somatic integration throughout the children’s day.
A regenerative education is ecological. A comprehensive understanding and respect for our earth habitat cultivates real resilience and true wealth. We’re demonstrating resource-consciousness by converting under-utilized land into unique outdoor classrooms built entirely with repurposed materials.
Finally, a regenerative approach to childhood education cycles right back into the community. Our students produce story books, plays, puppet shows, songs, and other presentations that showcase their emerging knowledge and skill-sets with parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends.
