In this hands-on workshop, we'll embark on an exciting educational journey through the life cycle of mushrooms! Starting with the initial stages in a petri dish, progressing through the growth substrate, and culminating in the emergence of the mushroom, students will discover the mystery of this most critical member of our food web.
Students will then have the unique opportunity to step aboard ROVER, our mobile nature lab, where they will actively engage in the process by inoculating their own mushroom grow blocks. After sealing and shaking their blocks, each student will take their creation home to observe the growth process firsthand over the next several weeks.
And that's not all...the Little Shepherds Nature Band will play fun sing-along songs along the way!
