Join us this fall at Duomo Gardens (located in the North Park/Normal Heights neighborhood of San Diego) for some fun outdoor after-school enrichment! We're open from 2:00 to 5:00 pm for drop-off services. Arrive and depart at your own pace.

Activities include (and are unlimited to): urban gardening, soil health, worm composting, seeds, plants, functional movement, nutrition, and holistic wellness.

Hourly Rate: $15-25 sliding scale

Pay-as-you-go: We're here from 2:00 - 5:00 pm, and you're welcome for all or part of it!

We have extra water on hand. Please bring your own healthy snacks.

Meet the Facilitators

AB Nevarez

AB has 35 years of experience producing community events with a focus on music, art, and education. With Duomo Gardens as an example, he teaches kids and adults from all walks of life about "terrain tending" and "soil stewarding," while promoting urban farms and gardens. AB also works with kids’ fundamental motor skills to improve physical literacy and coordination. His goal is to create environments that propel health and wellness, while having lots of fun!

Gina Tang

Gina is a mother, freelance content writer, and advocate for creative literacy. She claims that embodied, expressive,  "regenerative" writing has the power to save lives, and her mission is to see hand-writing (especially cursive) centered as an essential outlet for mental, physical, and social development. Gina believes most academic subjects take their strongest place in the great outdoors, in direct reference and connection to living systems. She also loves sharing music and poetry with her handpan drum.
